Black Glass by Azhar Amien (Book Review #1076)

Black Glass is a dark story about a psychopathic sadist and how far he is willing to conflict pain on others to have his greatest pleasure in life. The story begins five years after he has left as a torturer, his mental state and how years later, he is still suffering from losing his brother Sebastian. His personality is explained in detail, and it is amazing to observe his interpersonal conflicts, romantic relationships and all the fetishes he possesses regarding his interests.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The story’s premise is filled with so much that it is almost impossible not to want to sit and finish the book in one sitting. The descriptive writing and scenes were written so well. It amazed me to see the quality and precision.

Damon is such a complex character. His personality, demeanour and thoughts are so intriguing, and it was nice to see things from his perspective and follow this thought as he decided on things.

I highly recommend this book to fiction thrillers and crime mystery stories.
