Under the Orange Blossoms by Cindy Benezra (Book Review #1129)

Under the orange blossoms is a self-help book demonstrating how strong an individual can be. As Cindy lets you in her past, you understand so much about her personality, character, and inner beauty.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This is such a beautiful book. I have read many memoirs of this nature, so I always feel that I have read it all. This one, however, really moved me, and it wasn’t because of all the hardship Cindy faced. It was because of how much compassion and understanding she has. How many individuals have you met with such a big heart, especially after everything you read?

The literature is written well, and right from the beginning, you can connect and relate to Cindy. After the loss of her mother, caring for her father, and all the abuse, you really hope for some light or at least some closure.

I love to read books that always show two sides of the story and provide a fair and understanding perspective.

I recommend this book to those who like to read biographies and moving memoirs.
