Max and the isle of Sanctus is the second book of the ‘Secrets of the Twilight Djinn’ series. The fantasy fiction story begins with Max Daybreaker embarking on a new adventure. This time, he is dealing with much more, a Kraken, dragons, and powers that make him doubt himself sometimes.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I had already read book one, and so I knew the quality of literature and storytelling I was going to expect. The premise is filled with adventure, thrill, Gods, magic, pirates, and so much that you are kept intrigued, wanting to know more.

The characters really pull the story together. The descriptive nature of the book creates an exciting Isle of Sanctus. The concept of saving his mother relished the story enticed the concept of the storyline. Once again, the author manages to deliver a beautiful story.

I recommend this book to young adult fantasy fans.
