First Comes Baby by Alison O’Mara (Book Review #1262)

First Comes Baby is a fictional tale about a young woman named Ella deciding to go against social norms and have a baby by 35 before she is married or has a stable partner.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Ella is a strong character, and that is what pulls the entire story together. She not only faces the unfamiliar territory of motherhood and dealing with sperm donors, but she also has to face the aftermath of her decision.

The book is beautifully designed, and the literature is well written. It keeps you intrigued and wanting to figure out how the story will end.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about motherhood, romance and the struggles of social expectations.
