I died, but I got better is a book written about Lance Von Prum’s experience living his life and how he has escaped death a few times. He explains all of the good and the bad, highs and lows, and does not shy away from anything.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Lance has a very adventurous life. On top of all the humorous encounters, dialogues and events, the story truly keeps you intrigued, reading on. The numerous amounts of times he almost dies makes you wonder if any of this is accurate, and when you do realize how true it is, you then wonder amazed how he has survived.

The literature is told from his perspective and, of course, is written well. In my belief, a good storyteller has to have a particular skill, and the author does describe the emotions, events and scenes pretty well.

The tale is also about how Lance cultivates as a person and how the encounters make him stronger which I found particularly enjoyable to read.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes biographies, adventurous and humorous stories.
