What is the first book in the series? Trusting Her Heart was the first book released in the series and my very first novel. It follows the journey of a woman named Sadie, who survives a 5-year abusive marriage. She and her daughter, Hazel, embark on a train ride across America to stay with her best friend and try to figure out what comes next for them. In the end, she’ll not only have to escape the dangers of her past but also decide if she can let go of the past

and trust her own heart.

What was your inspiration for Trusting Her Heart? I am a survivor of a 16-year verbally and emotionally abusive marriage. I wanted to take my experiences and share them with other women in hopes of helping them see that they are not alone. I was diagnosed with PTSD, a left frontal lobe cognitive deficit, and a seizure/movement disorder due to past trauma, which has left me unable to work now. I want the world to know that abuse is abuse… no matter how it is delivered!

What is the next book in the series? Following Her Rainbow will be released in the spring of 2024. It follows a woman who has lost her baby girl and doesn’t know how to move past the grief of her loss. It gives readers a glimpse inside the mind and heart of a mother who must decide what

comes next for her in her now-failing marriage and her dream of motherhood.
