Monkey Man by M. N. Snow (Book Review #627)

Monkey Man is a futuristic military thriller story about a world that has dealt with global warming in a bad shape. Instead of warmth people are experiencing flooding, cool temperatures, and harsh conditions to live with. Everyone has been relocated in order to survive and here you have four main characters working together on the western edge of the Lake Superior.

Delores, Wally, Julie, and Danny, have to deal with a massive blaze on top of many other issues. Barely surviving over every incident. Only the connection between them and the strength of that connection can assist them in dealing with the horrors that come with this winter world.

The complexity of the characters, in particular, the four main characters were what set this book different from others. I have read books from this author before hence, I knew what quality I was expecting and he did not disappoint.

Anyone interested in reading punk style novels, cyberpunk or Neo-noir style punk would enjoy this book.
