Palm Lines by Jonathan Koven (Book Review #1019)

Palm Lines is a collection of poems about nature. The poems were divided into three segments and each was accompanied by beautiful illustrations that complemented the work. The author expresses scenes that were related to his youth and expressions of love and relationships.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I found the short collection to be emotionally charged. It is filled with memories moving from the past to the present and future. What I particularly enjoyed was the personal touch and heartfelt honesty that I felt while reading the poems.

The cover design for the book was cleverly designed, perfectly reflecting what was inside. I admired how much care, and love had gone into creating the book. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I recommend this book to poetry lovers.
