The Shattered Violin by Jared Bodnar (Book Review #1059)

The shattered violin is a sweet story about Conner and Cassie. They are very much in love, and their relationship is true to the bone. They are the perfect match, and you really feel for both of them. Their future happiness ends when Cassie is murdered, and Conner is left with such pain. His feelings are all over the place, and he seeks to avenge her death, but it does not all happen as planned.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I was very drawn to the premise of the story. I found it thrilling and was sitting on the edge, trying to figure out where all of this would go. I enjoyed the balance everything had in keeping the reader intrigued and how intense it was.

The thought of losing someone you love this much is a lot, but murder is even more complex, and never mind the rest. Therefore, the concept and dynamic of the story were well enjoyable and worth the read.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read crime thrillers.
