All the Queen’s Men by Darryl Gauci (Book Review #1134)

All the Queen’s men is a political history story about the Glover brothers, Zachary, Peter, Adrian, and Adam. All four served the British Empire, and the story mentions the trouble they faced in 1859. The story is written in letters and records that were passed between the brothers.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Peter works at the British Legation in Washington. Zachary was elected in 1920 in the House of Commons. Adrian is a Royal Naby Lieutenant serving the West African Squadron, and Adam is a successful businessman who hates everything and everyone he meets.

The four brothers co-play in creating a dynamic and exciting story. The personalities, character behaviour, and everything else meshed well together. It represented a specific skill from the author and was executed well.

What I particularly enjoyed was the historical fact and references made in the story. If you are into political history, then this is certainly one to read.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from this author.
