Monroe and Murphy: Issue 1 by Stephen Peeples, Nicolò Arcuti and Marco Della Verde (Book Review #1204)

Monroe and Murphy is a comic book and is the first book in the series. As a comic book, I found everything very appealing and exciting. The story’s content is about a private investigation taking place, reopening a 5-year-old case.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The cover design is in color, but the inside is black and white. The illustrations are slick and sharp. If you are into comic books, you will like this one.

It is apparent that the author has cared in creating this book. While the debut issue primarily spends its time introducing the story’s foundation, the tension and content provide enough for the reader to want more.

I recommend this book to graphic novel fans and young adult short book readers.
