The Bank Street Peeper by Erna Odrach (Book Review #1241)

The bank street is a fictional story about Reginald Rutley, who is a social outcast peeping through people’s windows only to follow up on their stories and know their different scenarios. As weird as what he does sounds like, the story notions the perspective one can have by simply being an observer.

Reginald is seeking happiness, and since he finds himself unappealing and unattractive, he seeks refuge in wondering what others are living like instead of dealing with his own. Living life through other people’s lives is his purpose, and I found the premise to be interesting because of that.

The story has a nice flow to it. When Reginald fell in love, I thought it to be a nice twist to the story. The literature was written well, and I enjoyed reading the book. I recommend this story to those who like to read dark humor.
