The St. Ciaran’s Chronicles by Will Mullin  (Book Review #1476)

‘The St. Ciaran’s Chronicles’ is a young adult fiction. It is the first book of its series and begins with Aidan struggling with losing his friend. Aidan’s self-confidence is weak, and he has self-identity issues in his teenage years.

It is nice to see how Aidan navigates his life and how his character grows. I also liked how the author did not shy away from discussing issues like drug abuse, alcohol and everything relevant to the teenage years.

Like every story, there are tips and turns, things you don’t anticipate happening, which keep you intrigued. There is strong language used in this book. I recommend this book to fiction readers and the for the young readers.
