The Open-Heart Open-Mind Recovery Concept by Violet Kairos (Book Review #1483)

‘The Open-Heart Open-Mind Recovery’ is a self-help book about freedom and those who are survivors of parental narcissistic abuse. The author aims to heal you through all the misery and hardship you can endure as a child and all the aftermath you face when you grow up.

The book is written very well and is organized. It possesses and covers all the necessary information required, ensuring the reader understands and follows the guide and receives a good education about the matter.

Abuse in any form is a very emotionally charged topic, so it requires a very delicate hand in writing, and special attention should be given to the reader, making them feel warmth and empathy. I was happy to see the author paid consideration to this matter.

I recommend this book to people who seek self-help material and matters of abuse.

  1. This book was very well written. In the early chapters, I felt heartache for Violet’s childhood, and what she had to endure. Then reading how she went through the healing process was encouraging. Then in chapter 11 I was in tears, and so happy that she was able to forgive her father, and love him for who he was.
