Saga of the Nine: Origins by Kawika Miles (Book Review #1494)

‘Saga of the Nine: Origins’ is a dystopian thriller and begins in the year 2036, where society is dealing with Civil War. America’s society is divided, and as you are introduced into two timelines, you understand that there is more to meet the eye.

I particularly enjoyed Mica Rouge, a veteran who tries to fight back. Miles also was enjoyable to get to know. His perspective and his mannerism towards the fictional society and important matters such as abortion or police power was very admirable and engaging.

The author paid attention to every detail and created a complex story. The intensity of the matter may confuse some and not make it suitable for all, but if you are into such genres, this is for you.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy futuristic storylines and enjoy action adventure books.
