Welcome To Opine by Matthew Marullo (Book Review #1539)

‘Welcome To Opine’ is a dystopian science fiction book about a seventeen-year-old whose body resists a side effect of mandatory gene therapy called the suppression of libido.

The story is set nine billion years in the future, when the Milky Way galaxy has collided with Andromeda galaxy, and Earth has now welcomed a new Homo Sapien 2.0. To add, The Find, a quantum computer buried by an ancient human on Earth, is the one thing that possesses a digitalised compendium of humankind’s achievements, creating more complexity to the story.

For those who are into sci-fi and like science-dominated storylines, this is for you. It may be complex, but it definitely provides enough content in your mind to think about. The concept of eliminating reality is very intriguing. All forms of senses were to be taken away and simply have enjoyment left is a fascinating notion indeed.

The story is possessed with many multi-realities and dimensional storylines. I recommend this read to sci-fi fans.
