The Legend of Rachel Petersen by J T Baroni  (Book Review #1577)

‘The Legend of Rachel Petersen’ is a ghost occult fiction story perfect for the Halloween gift you wish to give someone. It is filled with mystery and intense descriptive scenes, keeping the reader constantly guessing what will happen next.

It all begins with Christian, a sports writer who has decided to leave his career behind and has now decided to be a fictional writer. As he stumbles upon a forgotten grave, he is inspired, and the layered narrative takes you on an unforgettable journey. 

I appreciated the premise and how everything was layered out in this tale. The author pays attention to detail, which is extremely important for thriller storylines.

The characters and world-building particularly stood out for me, and while you read along, you could find certain characters like Rachel to be very intriguing.

I recommend this book to those who like to read fictional tales and mystery storylines.
