Paper Targets – Art Can Be Murder by Steve S. Saroff (Book Review #1637)

‘Paper Targets’ is a crime thriller about Enzi, a person with dyslexia who is math-smart and becomes a successful computer coder. While he falls in love with a woman named Kaori, he also meets Tommy, who introduces him to cybercrime.

I liked how Enzi began with nothing and then managed to create something of himself. The character growth was nice to watch. Tommy’s character and personality did bring a new dynamic to the tale. I enjoyed watching him spice things up for the thriller.

I particularly enjoyed how the book was based on a true story. This added to the intrigue and made me want to know more about the book.

The mystery behind the descriptive storytelling stood out for me. I recommend this book to those who like to read crime fiction.
