They discover the gift’s true form in the stables: a magical unicorn wrapped in paper and ribbon, just like the gift. The princess is overjoyed and, with the king’s permission, opens the stable door to reveal the magnificent unicorn. She names it “Patience” in honor of the lesson she learned: the power and reward of waiting.

Patience is a heartwarming tale that beautifully illustrates the importance of patience, self-control, and delayed gratification. Mike Kizzar skillfully weaves these themes into the story, making it both entertaining and educational for young readers. The princess’s growth throughout the book highlights the personal development that comes with learning to wait, and the magical reward at the end reinforces the value of patience.
