The Woman Warrior by Diana Raab, PhD
Since an early age, writing has been my panacea when moving through challenging times. My passion began during my childhood when my mother gave me a Khalil Gibran journal to help me cope with the loss of my grandmother and caretaker who died in my childhood home. Since then I have used writing to help me heal. My mission is now to share my passion and teach others to do the same.
After journaling during my turbulent adolescence, I again turned to journaling when on bed rest with my three children. Years later at the age of forty-seven when diagnosed with breast cancer, I again turned to journaling, which eventually evolved into my second memoir, Healing With Words: A Writer’s Cancer Story, and my hope was to help others navigating similar journeys.
The culmination of my life’s passion for writing, was the release of my latest book, Writing for Bliss: A Seven-Step Plan for Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life. I’m excited that Writing for Bliss: A Companion Journal will be released in January 2019.
