Sean goes to Barcelona is a children’s book about Sean finally managing to meet his superhero, Messi the famous soccer player. His family travel to Barcelona and take him to a match for him to see his idol at play. Sean’s personality remains to be persistent and so with his attempts to find a way to get what he wants he sometimes fails or succeeds.
Having read the other two books about Sean I was glad to see that he finally gets to see Messy. The literature remained to be intriguing and the storytelling was delightful. The illustrations were a few but were visually nice to see.
I would recommend this book to families that like to discuss this sport with their child or wish to inspire their little boy or girl in sports.
The author delightfully considers the audience being from various countries and provides versions of the book being titled soccer or football.
Sean is a delightful 8 years old who is really special. I enjoyed his charisma and passion, and look forward to reading more about his adventures.
