Alexandra Forever 2291 — Book One: The Strange Matter of the Red Dwarf by D.W. Richards (Book Review #763)

Alexandra Forever is a series of 8 fantasy novellas. The narrative follows a continuous and unified form of events that follow throughout the 8 books. Each book ends with a ‘To be continued”, creating a great layout of a story plot, which finalizes at the end of the series.

In book one, the adventure begins with a massive tsunami caused by a dwarf star passing through the Milky Way. Space prepares for impact, but what they are in for is something different than what they thought.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Alexandra, the protagonist of this fascinating sci-fi story, is a living goddess. She works as the Post Office Marshall. A rigorous and critical mission sends her off to retrieve something top secret, and that is when the exploration begins.

The literature is written with great skill. The story is filled with intense sci-fi and fantasy material, and the pace is steady and captivating. Everything put together creates a perfect beginning to a series. The character buildup was also creatively placed together. Many sideline stories were happening at the same time, which made the story complex; however, that did not take away the ordeal too much away from the mainline.

I recommend this book to fantasy lovers and look forward to reading more from this author.
