UNHINGED by Brendon Luke (Book Review #862)

Unhinged is a self-help, self-dedicated book on helping the reader judge and hopefully learn that there will be a time when you reach a certain point and find that saving grace from within. It is some sort of a spiritual power created by yourself; whether it’s right or wrong is your choice, but it’s all about the courage to trust yourself. The message is clear, and that is to let people know it’s okay to mess up. It’s okay to fail because you get to learn from it and move on.

The book is like a memoir explaining what the author’s life has been growing up dealing with all sorts of ups and downs. From suicide, anorexia, alcoholism, and more, the author demonstrates a life lived, and life learned.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The literature is written with many short sentences and an honest portrayal of reality. The author does not shy away to let you know of his falls.

I recommend it to anyone interested in reading about the reality of life and how you can learn from mistakes.
