War For Humanity: The Wrath of Black Scar by A. R. Lerwill (Book Review #944)

The wrath of Black Scar is the first book in the war for humanity series. It’s about a fallen world ravaged by climactic struggle and a boy warrior named Aldber who is given a task to find the opposition leader, Black Scar.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

You immediately fall into this in-depth world, imagining every single step and wondering how it’s going to end. The author demonstrates his skills with descriptive writing and intriguing scenery. The characters are engaging and developed very well. As it is the first book of the series, I was expecting a back story and foundation. The author did not disappoint.

I enjoyed how the book taught us to learn from the past and keep connected to past civilizations. Since many aspects of the story were taken from real locations, and there was much-researched work done for it, it was apparent that the story took a certain natural feel to it. This enticed the experience and made it so much fun to read.

I look forward to reading more from this author. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read action-adventure.
