The Demeter Code by Russell Brooks (Book Review #992)

The Demeter code is a suspenseful mystery and crime story. The third book is series and begins with Ridley Fox and Nita Parris being assigned to find out why two American embassies in northern Africa have been bombed. Things turn worse when one of their top assets is killed and the couple realized that there are more hidden agendas at play.

The author does a great job enticing the book creating a very thrilling and mysterious version of an action adventure story. It is intelligently put together and I found its dynamic to my liking.

I believe contrary to what I initially thought is going to be the case, the story was pulled together by the set of bad characters that were put together. If you are into anything like the Hollywood adventure movies, you will like this one.

Although the book made sense without me reading the previous two versions, I still think it would have been best had I started from the beginning.

I recommend this book to mystery thriller readers.
