Eve’s Ducklings by Maria Monte & Emelie Wiklund (Book Review #959)

Eve’s Ducklings is a beautifully illustrated children’s book. It is about a little girl named Eve who loves animals and gets excited about the ducklings she sees when they go to the par with her grandpa.

The pages are beautifully designed, and Eve is adorable. I really enjoyed the concept of the book. Eve attempts to gain the mother ducks’ trust in order to enjoy her company. The little girl does not give up. Even though she fails many times but she is persistent.

I appreciated the idea of respecting the boundaries of others. In this matter, it was about animals, but we can certainly apply it to humans as well.

I recommend this book to parents who are looking for a suitable children’s book.
