Ardennia by Bruce Calhoun (Book Review #1052)

Ardennia is a young adult novel about Cinderella’s Prince. The story is based on the original tale we all know and have been addicted to since a young age. However, this one takes on additional sideline adventures with pixies, trolls, fairies, nymphs, and dwarves. There are added romance and love connections as well, enticing the experience and taking it to a whole other level.

I particularly enjoyed how the focus was on the Prince, and that was something I never really thought about before. The literature was written well, and since I am a big Disney fan, I was stuck to the book and didn’t want to put it down.

The characters were diverse and perfectly synced with the age group in question. I found the magic still present and would like to read more from this author.

I recommend this book to fairy tale readers and those who wanted to know more about Cinderella’s Prince.
