Forever by J.B. Roux (Book Review #1068)

Forever is a contemporary romance novel about Jenny wanting a child so bad that it almost becomes an obsession. She does not care about getting married or having a relationship. When she meets David, all is good; however, he also comes with a background and a story. The two work well together, and the baby she wants is almost as real as it can get; however, her feelings are not as strict anymore, and her wants begin to sway differently.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

The fictional story was easy to read and enjoyable to recite. Jenny’s personality came off like a movie I had seen where the woman’s focus was purely on just having a child. I enjoyed the independent personality and her driven thoughts; however, when she met David, things weren’t as evident in her head, and her heart also began to make decisions of its own.

The literature was slow-paced, and there wasn’t a super big twist or turn in the story to suddenly shock you of the outcome. What did exist was a good old fashion romance story where you could relax, enjoy and read.

I recommend this book to romance readers and fiction fans.
