They Call Him Sizzleborn by Bret Tallman (Book Review #1118)

They call him Sizzleborn is an action-adventure story about a professional cage fighter, Charlie Tate. He is married to Vivienne Quick and has two sons with her. As they move to his wife’s old family home, he discovers that his wife has been hiding a few family secrets.

Vivienne has an old enemy lurking in the forest called Bull Kissyface and the creature is not done with the family.

Charles’s personality and character aren’t that accepting of what transpires as Vivienne reveals many realities that are too hard for him to conceptualize. The literature is intense and keeps you intrigued as you read along. Charlie’s way of handling things shapes the story.

The story and premise were engaging and were written well. I recommend this book to action readers.
