CHOOSING LIFE by JULIA TANNENBAUM (Book Review #1139)

Choosing life is the third book of ‘The changing ways series’ and is written about a young girl dealing with therapy, failed relationships, and the chance of falling into the same old bad habits.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I particularly liked the book because it demonstrated the thoughts of a young person’s mind. The support of the family and the complications of facing mental illness is what stands out in the book.

If you haven’t read book one, I recommend you begin from the start. I believe this way, you understand the effects of what Grace feels and deals with in a much better way. The choices Grace has to make aren’t easy, and you can comprehend the struggles she faces.

I recommend this book to contemporary young adult readers and those who like to read materials about mental illness.
