How to pull a movie out of you’re a** is a nonfiction self-help book for those interested in the filmmaking industry and looking for ways to enter the business without breaking the bank.

Besides the humorous cover design or the outspoken title, the content discusses serious parts of the film industry. It begins with explaining the author and the filmmaking in general, then moves on to the development side of things. The author explains where the money is at and where it needs to go.

I particularly enjoyed how the book explained the pre-production, production, and post-production side of things in detail. Having no experience or knowledge in the matter, I found the concept and particulars to be educational and interesting to read.

I recommend this book to those in the performing arts.
