Now Entering Alaska Time by Ken Waldman (BookReview #1258)

Now entering Alaska is a fictional short story divided into five parts. It is a unique blend of drama, death, loss, and comedy. Zan, a 28-year-old divorce’ and a musician moves to Frainbanks and, after experiencing love and loss, meets Melinda, a 27-year-old who has experienced her own crisis.

The story is written well and explains the life of the two characters in a separate way before joining them together. There aren’t many twists or turns in the book, but what exists in Alaska, its beauty, and its people.

The author has written many books before this one. He is a musician and has written poetry as well. It was nice to see his character and his experiences portrayed in some way throughout the book.
