The Cyclone Release – A Novel of Silicon Valley by Bruce Overby (Book Review #1424)

‘The Cyclone Release’ is a psychological fiction set in 1990. It all begins with Brenden Meagher and his grief and loss. While the secrets unravelled from this loss are introduced, you understand the surrounding world and see what it takes to love again.

I enjoyed the story concept while reading through Brenden’s thoughts, feelings and understanding. The steady pace kept me intrigued and also kept me wanting more. This is a wonderful novel, and you are instantly connected to the protagonist due to its straightforward, relatable character representation.

I look forward to reading more from this author. I recommend this book to those who like to read thought-provoking material and mind-boggling subject matter storylines.
