Werewolf for Hire by Sue Denver (Book Review 1509)

‘Werewolf for Hire’ is a mystery novella. It begins with Sara Flores, a very strong and good P.I. licenced-to-hire who happens to get a call from Lillian Jackson asking for protection after she gets hit by a car. Someone wants to kill Lillian, and Sara is determined to find out who and why.

As the story progresses, things get even more dangerous, and Sara realizes that she has to take in all her skills and powers to ensure things pan out the way they should.

The scenes and the way the author describes them enable you to envision them. The plotline is engaging, fast-paced and well-put together. As a female protagonist, Sarah is empowering and makes you want to cheer her on.

This is a book in a series, so I appreciated how the author ended the story with sufficient closure but left more for wanting. I look forward to reading the next series.
