Coven of Blood, Bone, and Beasts by LJ Rimmey (Book Review #1524)

‘Coven of Blood, Bone, and Beasts’ is the first book of its series, filled with adventure and fantasy elements. It begins with Lord Hilmar and the Kingdom of Lanska being under control by demons and poverty. Clearly, Hilmar is not fit to be king, so the gods take action.

Five magic users, with the help of guardian beats, are chosen to come to fix the situation of the kingdom.

As you slowly get to understand each character and their personality, you are also introduced to a beautiful fantasy world where everything is designed to keep you intrigued.

The story is unique in its premise, and even though the book cover did not match the rich content inside, the story surely kept its magical qualities.

I recommend this book to those who like to read fantasy stories in a series.
