Let Your Lips Twitch by R.A. Clarke (Book Review #1542)

‘Let Your Lips Twitch’ is a humorous short story collection. Each story stands alone, and since they are short, they can be enjoyed in a short span of time.

You get to read about a blind date and how the attraction and flirtation also end up problemsome with mistakes. A teenage boy enjoys the presence of a dream girl, where he has a button-popping disaster while trying to impress him.

I particularly found the story where the man complains that his marriage needs spicing up, but when the wife changes, he ends up regretting what he wishes.

The literature is written well, and from the beginning, you know what you are going to get. Since the stories are short, you aren’t getting much character development or foundation for the storyline.

I enjoyed reading this book and recommend it to those who like short, funny reads.
