Tied to the Mast’ is amystery thriller and filled with action and drama. Anna Nava is a psychiatrist, and when one of her clients dies, she finds it in herself to find out why. The journey becomes a revelation of many things, introducing many subject matters such as addiction, suicide, and more.

As a mystery thriller, the scenes were very descriptive, and this enabled the reader to envision everything in a clear way. Once you are hooked, you continue reading the book until the end. The pace of the book is steady and possesses enough twists and turns, keeping it intriguing.

I thought the author had paid attention to detail, and this made the storyline stand out from other mystery thrillers. Anna’s personality as a female protagonist is strong and develops throughout the plotline. Her demeanor was gratifying.

I recommend this book to those who like stories with an edge.
