Maestro Orpheus and the World Clock by Robert Pennee and Joanne Grodzinski (Book Review #1551)

‘Maestro Orpheus and the World Clock’ is a Juvenile Fiction about Fred and his journey trying to understand why time stopped when he went to visit his grandfather. Fred’s life changes when he meets Maestro Orpheus and his magical lyre, and together, they must wind The World Clock.

This short story is perfect for the young age range it’s written for. The dialogue, concept of storyline, and descriptive but not too wordy dialogue truly grabs the young reader’s attention and enhance their love for reading.

The storyline is beautifully put together, and the cover design is well thought out. It is a representation of a well-researched and cared-for work of literature.

The background music and attention given to specific art songs were noted. The narrator’s voice and how the story is spoken was exciting to me.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy audiobooks.
