So Hard to Do by Sally Basmajian (Book Review #1554)

‘So Hard to Do’ is a romantic comedy and revolves around Jannie and her mother, Suze. Things change for Jannie when Suze moves out, leaving her to herself. She does not know much about how to run a house or take responsibility for her own, so we watch her cause a fire and flood her apartment.

As the two women navigate life searching for love, work, and co-existence with each other, you also can admire the mother-and-daughter relationship they have. The love and hate, the misunderstandings, miscommunications, and everything that transpires as the back-and-forth storyline shapes up this interesting story.

At first, you struggle to keep up because there is so much going on, but soon, you get adjusted to the pace, and that’s when you get into it. The literature is written well, and this adds more to the storytelling. The witty nature of things uplifted all the drama and made it humorous to read.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy fictional tales.
