The Couple’s Counsel: A Story on the Journey Towards a Fulfilled Marriage by Ikenna Ngene Ph.D and Ijeoma Ngene (Book Review #1585)

‘The Couple’s Counsel’ is a non-fiction book written to demonstrate the importance of marriage in the sight of God and show by example how one could possibly reconsolidate the differences and problems without going the extra mile to separate.

I appreciated how organized the book is. It begins with ‘Together Again’ and ends with ‘Going Home’. I particularly enjoyed the ‘Me in We’ segment. It talks about how you can avoid forgetting about yourself once you’re married and how it’s crucial to help your spouse move forward and bloom.

The literature is written well and enjoyable to read. It is very educational, and being referenced by the word of God adds to its credibility, especially for religiously inclined people.

I recommend this book to those who wish to understand marriage and the importance of the bond.
