Body of Origin by Kimberly J. Smith (Book Review #1619)

‘Body of Origin’ is a young adult fictional story about Calliope Littleton. She is a sixteen-year-old and has the ability to be immune to a drug treatment mandated by the government. This enables her to remain having her switching abilities.

Calliope has the ability to transport into another conscious body, and this permits her to do so much good and do certain other things that make her doubt if she is right.

The tale has a thrilling foundation and back story. The world-building enables so much to interpret, and this created a fantastic novel. The pace is steady with my intriguing twists.

There is a certain culture and particular fantasy element weaved into this book that really enlightens the reader.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy fantasy stories and young readers alike.
