An author works months on a manuscript and the satisfaction from typing that final period is certainly worth a celebration. However, the sense of relief and joy is short-lived for me. The year gap alongside the difference in culture alone should have made things complicated enough. But still, the story took the reader that extra mile, letting you know that the body could swap personalities at any time.
