Adventurer’s Overture by Lynette Bacon-Nguyen (Book Review #1263)

Adventurer’s owner is a young adult fantasy story. Amber is only 15 and ready to start her career at the Adventurer’s Hall, but it does not go as she thought it would. There are obstacles on her way and evil she has to face so her town, Pondril, is saved.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

With the help of her newfound friend, Arabella, a girl she saves, Amber confronts horrors and things coming out of the water. The coming of age story is filled with fantasy and adventure. The pace of the story is steady, keeping you intrigued and contains descriptive storytelling, allowing you to imagine every scene.

This is book one of its series. It provides enough content and closure yet leaves some for the remaining books. I enjoyed reading this book. I recommend this book to fantasy readers and adventure fans.
