The Rainmaker by Petra Landon (Book Review #446)

The Rainmaker is the second book in the Saga of the Chosen series. This urban fantasy focuses on Tasia. She has been living in hiding and has to decide how much she wants to let on. Raoul is also still in the picture and is very much involved in the rescue missions.

Tasia’s power was the highlight of the storyline. Her abilities were unique and very interesting to read. The relationship between Raoul and Tasia was another intriguing endeavor. The underline of the story was tenderly embedded with humor, and as I had already read Petra’s previous work, I was not expecting anything less.

There are still many unanswered questions, extra new plots and secrets that remain to tickle the mind, however, the ending was fairly satisfying, and if you are one of those people who does not like to wait, then you are advised to buy the third book, when it is out, as well.

The dialogues and characters had their unique personalities yet, all acted as a primary player. This style of writing is unique, and I praise the author for being able to accomplish that.

I recommend this book to fantasy readers and romance lovers.
