Home by Michael Golvach (Book Review #615)

Home is a paranormal horror novel written about Alexis Wood. I have read previous books from this author, so I knew what quality I was going to be receiving, and he did not disappoint.

The supernatural thriller definitely takes on you a journey containing many layers or storylines all coming together at the end. The pace of the story was decent, and the plot began with a good foundation building up a descriptive visualization of whatโ€™s to come. The character building, development was spot on. I particularly enjoyed the dialogue between the characters. I felt a bond and instant connection to Alexis from the start and was glad that I did not lose it. I found her interesting and real.

I found the story to have many layers that could expand in the future and create a story of its own. I was not sure if that was what the author had intended, but I enjoyed this aspect of the story because it allowed room for growth.

I would recommend this book to mystery thriller readers and people who like to read horror stories.
