Love is a cheerleader running by R.F. Gonzalez (Book Review #656)

Love is a cheerleader running is written about a teenage boy named Liam who falls in love with a cheerleader at his school. As he moves on to University, he meets another girl, and that too has its own drama until he meets Briana. Things take a turn when that happens, and that is when the story takes an exciting twist.

Everything to do with the story is filled with love and passion, yet, the subtext of the text is dark. This contemporary fiction has romance and new adult material. The literature is descriptive with passion scenes, and the pace is steady. I particularly enjoyed reading how the protagonist’s personality grew with every experience. It just proved to show how bad or good events can influence the soul and thoughts of someone regardless of how they used to be.

One thing to take away from this book is that love does not always fill you with happiness and could make you suffer instead.

I would recommend this book to new adult romance readers and people who like to read fictional college romances.
