Double-edged is a story written about a princess called Kerra and a farm girl called, Lavenderra. Princess Kena is in line for the throne. The responsibility of it all is too much for her, but Vent, a charming cave dweller, changes all that. She teams up with him to help him with what he has lost and to help his people at the same time.

On the other hand, Lavenderra, who is a farm girl, meets Tan, and they both hit it off immediately. However, things get in the way as trouble arises, and as their past affects their future. This caused conflict between the two, and the relationship was then fought for in order to survive.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I personally enjoyed the two girl protagonists’ storylines. The dynamic and dialogue between the characters were engaging. The pace was steady, and the author clearly tried to keep the story interesting.

The tale possessed multiple layers. There even was Illustrations of the kingdoms at the beginning. The world was fantasy-oriented.

It was filled with magic and adventure. The two separate stories mixed together and created a beautiful experience.

I would recommend this book to readers who like coming of age stories and read fantasy novels.
