Justice is a trilogy fantasy novel set in medieval Aragon. It is a long story about Sophie and her adventure discovering some shocking murders by a tremendous vial killer. The mysterious story moved from the 13th century to modern-day London, which was interesting to me.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

The dialogues are long, and since the story is detailed, there were bound to miss a few important notes. The love between the two main characters was powerful, and it became repetitive or too much at times. The story also possessed some strong, descriptive dismembering scenes where some readers could have found a bit disturbing. It was obvious what the author was trying to channel across to the reader. I appreciated that. The work was very well-edited, and the literature was easy to read and understand.

Sophie’s epic adventure is filled with many layers of fun, excitement and also fragile moments. Her character grows with the story, and this lays much more room for depth and tales for the future books that are to follow this one.

Since the book is a trilogy, I was expecting a solid foundation basing the content for future editions. The author did not disappoint, though, and I look forward to reading more from her.

I would recommend this book to people who like fantasy stories that include history, love and adventure.
