The Tech by Mark Ravine (Book Review #788)

The tech is a crime mystery novel about Cassidy, who works for the FBI. She is trouble, stands her ground, and following orders is just not what Cassidy does.  She has a reputation. When Cassidy returns to Arizona, she finds herself in a predicament. The cases given are suspicious, and her gut feeling is telling her something is not right.

I predominantly enjoyed the complexity of the crime. Witnesses were disappearing, and suspects being killed. Her own life was in danger, and she also had to protect her team as well. The lead character being a woman, added that intriguing nature of femininity to the story.

The literature is intense, and the characters bounced off one another in an amicable and teamwork manner. I enjoyed the relationships and dialogues between them.

It is tough to solve something when you don’t know whom to trust.

Alexandra’s thoughts, character, and personality really stood out in the story. The ending was worth the wait.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes insightful, crafty, and criminal mind stories.
