The Hashimoto’s Handbook: How to Thrive, Not Just Survive by Mark Pilja (Book Review #824)

The Hashimoto’s handbook is a self-help book focused on battling Hashimoto’s disease. The book is filled with information about this thyroid disease and helps anyone who does not know much about it. People looking for ways to make life easier can use this book to monitor their diet, distress, and use other successful methods that may not have worked before. The key is not to survive but to live and thrive, which the title of the book humbly reminds us about.

For instance, the ways mentioned may come hard for some, but at the end of the day, if you are in pain and your life isn’t enjoyable, it won’t hurt to try something different. Reducing inflammation, muscle, weight, joint pain, and more related topics to keeping a strict diet are mentioned in this book.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The literature is easy to read and to follow. The author displays care and is attentive to the subject matter. He has willingly provided an honest amount of helpful information and has even provided information about COVID-19. Therefore, the work is as updated as it can be.

I recommend this book to anyone dealing with Hashimoto’s disease and want to know more about it.
